Altered Book Art Journaling Workshop for ages 5 & up Stationmaster's Art Gallery 20 South Terrace Strathalbyn Friday 12th July 2019 12.30 - 3.30pm $25 includes all materials ✨✨✨ Be guided by Janet to begin your own Altered Book Art Journal in a fun and friendly group setting in the charming Red Hen Carriages at Stationmasters Gallery in Strathalbyn.
This form of art journaling is an excellent way to explore a variety of art materials, collage, stamping, printing, & to use found & recycled materials. You can experiment with ideas & to re-purpose unwanted old books as personal, richly creative journals. Art journaling can be a great way to express yourself, it can be fun & relaxing to play, explore & experiment with many different art forms or ideas you have. There are really no rules & art experience or ability is not important at all! Everything is supplied - selections of old books, heaps of collage materials & a diverse range of art materials will be provided for you to explore. Bring an old hard-backed book if you have one, an apron or art shirt & any bits & pieces you'd like to use in your creations. (I will supply plenty of everything though for you to choose from too) Art experience or ability isn't important , only a willingness to explore, play & experiment!
